Affordable Arguments Add Weight at Sussex Appeal

Tetlow King Planning (TKP) assisted a major planning appeal success at Penland Farm, Haywards Heath, Sussex for 210 dwellings. Affordable housing evidence was submitted on behalf of Catesby Estates supporting the delivery of 30% affordable housing in an area of acute need. Other expert planning evidence was presented by Barton Willmore.

TKP’s evidence convinced the Inspector that there would be significant social benefits arising from the 30% affordable housing to be delivered, a matter adding further weight to the significant benefit of meeting housing need in the area. The appeal was allowed and can be viewed here.
