Jamie Roberts MPlan MRTPI

Jamie has worked in the planning consultancy sector since 2013, having gained a Master of Planning in Urban Studies and Planning at the University of Sheffield. Jamie became a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in early 2016 and relocated to Bristol in late 2019, originally joining Tetlow King Planning as a Principal Planner. In January 2024 Jamie was promoted to Associate.

He has experience across the residential sector, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in the preparation and submissions of planning applications and appeals. This includes a range of different sites, from 4,000 dwelling urban extension projects to residential sites of around 50 to 300 dwellings. Clients have included national housebuilders and strategic land promoters. Jamie also has experience in the commercial sector, with work including retail, storage and distribution uses.

Since joining Tetlow King Planning, Jamie has specialised in affordable housing, acting for housing associations, affordable housing providers and developers on issues including local evidence on affordable housing needs and delivery; housing accessibility standards; and innovative affordable housing tenures. He has attended Local Plan examinations and spoken at a national planning conference.
