Jamie has worked in the planning consultancy sector since 2013, having gained a Master of Planning in Urban Studies and Planning at the University of Sheffield and the Institut d’Urbanisme de Lyon. Jamie became a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in early 2016 and relocated to Bristol in late 2019, joining Tetlow King Planning as a Principal Planner.
He has experience across the residential sector, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in the preparation and submissions of planning applications and appeals. This includes a range of different sites, from 4,000 dwelling urban extension projects to large and small residential sites of around 50 to 300 dwellings. Clients have included national housebuilders and strategic land promoters. Jamie also has experience in the commercial sector, with work including retail change-of-use and shopfront applications, storage and distribution uses.
