Tetlow King Planning (TKP) is delighted to announce that Julie O’Rourke has been elected for Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI), with MRTPI status.
Julie was successful through the Licentiate Assessment of Professional Competence and was elected as a Chartered Town Planner at the beginning of November 2017. Julie becomes the 14th MRTPI Chartered Town Planner at TKP.
Upon graduating from the University of the West of England with an MPlan in Town and Country Planning in 2010, Julie worked for Swindon Borough Council followed by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
Prior to joining TKP in May 2017 Julie was employed at Bath and North East Somerset Council as a Planning Officer and awarded the title of ‘Neighbourhood Planning Champion’ by the Department for Communities and Local Government for her work on promoting Neighbourhood Planning.
Julie’s appointment has enabled TKP to expand upon the advice offered to Local Authorities and Parish Councils in this area. Further details of the new and expanded scope of TKP Neighbourhood Planning services will be announced shortly.
