Tetlow King Planning advised the St Clere estate in connection with proposals to replace agricultural buildings at West Yaldham Farm, Wrotham, Kent with office and storage buildings totalling 2000sq m, 5 dwellings, and an extension to a grain barn/biomass boiler. Gaining consent in this sensitive Green Belt location required Very Special Circumstances to be shown and Tetlow King were able to persuade officers and members of the committee that the removal of the existing buildings and the subsequent reduction in volume and replacement with well-designed buildings, long with providing rural housing and employment, constituted Very Special Circumstances.
