Tetlow King Planning will be appearing extensively at the Examination in Public (EiP) of the South West Regional Spatial Strategy (RSS) 2006-2026 which is being held in Exeter between April and June 2007.
Acting on behalf of the National Housing Federation, the Chartered Institute of Housing and the South West RSL Planning Consortium, we have been invited to attend ten sessions including overall housing provision, settlement strategy, affordable housing, housing density, delivery and infrastructure and implementation/monitoring. Robin Tetlow, Chairman, will be appearing at each of these sessions.
Tetlow King Planning also played an active role in the Public Examination of RPG10, the current regional guidance for the South West, in 2000.
Stephen Hinsley, Senior Director, appeared at the South East Regional Spatial Strategy EiP in December 2006 on behalf of the Elmbridge Housing Trust.
Representations are being submitted on behalf of the West Midlands RSL Planning Consortium to the West Midlands Regional Spatial Strategy Phase Two Revision.
Under the new planning system introduced under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 the regional tier of planning has enhanced status. The RSS will set the strategic and long term development plan context for the local development frameworks prepared by local authorities across each region.
