Tetlow King Planning (TKP) were appointed by Richmond Housing Partnership to lead a development team to steer the proposals for the Partnership’s new offices in Teddington through the planning process. Originally commissioned in 2007 to prepare a development brief and organise a design competition to select the scheme architects, TKP successfully spearheaded the team for the new headquarters building designed by Architects BPTW, in Waldegrave Road.
A process, which included pre-application discussions with planning officers, a public presentation of the proposals and a presentation to the Borough’s Design Panel, paid dividends as the Council resolved to grant planning permission for the 50,000 sq. ft. development.
An earlier proposal by the previous owners for a development of a similar size was refused planning permission.
