Matthew Bunt BA (Hons) MSc MRTPI

Based in Bristol, Matthew has worked in the planning sector since 2014. Following an undergraduate degree in Human Geography at the University of Exeter, Matthew specialised in Urban Planning at the University of the West of England, gaining an MSc with distinction. Matthew has a wealth of Development Management experience, firstly working for South Gloucestershire Council where he worked on both rural and urban projects, and then Bristol City Council where he predominantly worked on complex urban developments. He is well-versed in navigating complicated planning issues in urban environments and has experience of a diverse range of developments, including residential proposals, 100% affordable schemes, purpose-built student housing, co-living accommodation, as well as commercial, leisure, and retail developments. Further to advising on the suitability of potential developments and assessing planning applications, he is experienced in appeals, including both hearings and public inquiries. Matthew became a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2017 and joined Tetlow King Planning as a Principal Planner in mid-2023.
